Kristin Kasper

Kristin Kasper joined the Gray Television Washington News Bureau in July of 2019 as a multimedia journalist.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Kristin began her career as K2 Television’s Chief Capitol Correspondent in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She spent three years at the statehouse reporting on the budget, the coal and energy industry, agriculture, and other economic issues.

Kristin then moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana to work as an anchor and reporter for WPTA. There, she was part of a team that broke the news of an arrest in the 1988 April Tinsley cold case, ending decades of continuing coverage in the child’s murder.

Kristin has since been covering complex issues in Washington; interviewing presidential candidates, cabinet secretaries, lawmakers, and White House officials.

She continues to be an avid supporter of the arts, with a life-long appreciation for choral music, opera, and musical theatre. Kristin currently sits on the board of directors for the Alexandria Choral Society.
