Jasmine Ramirez

Jasmine Ramirez joined the KOLD News 13 team in January 2020.

She is new to Arizona and is extremely excited for Tucson's sunshine and winters without blizzards and freezing temperatures.

Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, she fell in love with reporting while in high school.

While attending the University of Missouri School of Journalism, Jasmine worked as a multimedia journalist for KOMU 8 News. She spent a summer interning in Brussels, Belgium at an international news agency.

After graduating, Jasmine worked as a reporter and anchor at ABC 17 News in Columbia, Missouri. She covered everything from record-breaking flooding, a presidential rally and tornado recovery.

She is already falling in love with Tucson’s sunshine, and looks forward to exploring the city and getting to know the community.
